about white design

Three years ago, I landed in the hospital with a sudden blood clot in my right leg. The doctors were clueless and I spent 5 days in a miserable bed. It was brutal for me.

A week after returning home I rearranged my entire apartment. My intent was to 'stir the energy up', and revitalize a stagnant space. That left me without a coffee table so I went shopping. I found nothing in the stores coming close to what I wanted, so I made something. I LOVE furniture. I had a new coffee table and well, rather liked it.

I made one more, then another. BUT, more than anything, I paid attention to the joy it gave me and how there was no such thing as time. The problem was I turned my apartment into a dust collection system, that being a total drag. I wanted to find a space to make more furniture. Could I really say the word; a "shop". I needed a "shop". And I needed more tools to make this stuff because the ideas were flooding my head so fast I felt schizophrenic.

I made ONE phone call and a month later, a philanthropist I didn't know by the name of John S. handed me the keys to his "shop". Now, this was no ordinary "shop" because in a previous life John was a cabinet maker. EVERYTHING I needed, wanted, was in this "shop". TIG welding equipment, taps/dies, saws, routers, sanders, air compressors, grinders, even a dust collection system.

THE LAW OF ATTRACTION
